Choir Festival
Gathering choirs to proclaim the gospel through song and the preaching of the Word.
Choirs gather, present 3-4 pieces from their own repertoire, rehearse the combined program, and close the day with fellowship, dinner, and community.
Every choir returns to one stage. The combined choir performs the culminating evangelistic concert — everything the weekend was built toward, proclaimed to an open audience.
origins
Born in 2003 at the prompting of the Holy Spirit, the Lauda Domini Choir Festival has grown from a local gathering into an annual weekend that draws choirs from across the country — united around one purpose: proclaiming the gospel through song and the Word. Chicago is the next chapter.

FAQ
Got specific questions?
Can I participate if I'm not part of a choir?
Yes — however we strongly encourage you to connect with a choir in your area that is attending. If you don't have one, reach out to us and we'll do our best to connect you with a group near you. You are welcome to come individually and participate in all events except the individual choir presentations, during which you will be in the audience.
What kind of music can choirs sing for their presentation?
Music should reflect a Christ-honoring attitude appropriate for a church setting. Style can range from classical to contemporary.
Do I need to learn the combined choir music beforehand?
Yes. It is important that all participants come prepared — whether through personal practice or rehearsals with your local group. Find the repertoire on our music page.
Is there a registration fee?
Not at all. The Registration is free. Contact us for any questions about participation costs or logistics.
